Non Vincent Related Bikers meet at British Commercial Vehicle Museum

The Vintage Motorcycle Club (VMCC) attracted more than 130 classic bike enthusiasts to a meet-up in partnership with the British Commercial Vehicle Museum.

Taking place earlier this month in the car park of the Leyland-based-museum, the event had everything from early 20th century Triumphs to landmark Japanese machines from the 1970s and 80s – including a Honda CX500, and Suzuki GSX750.

With adults gaining entry for just £3, the visitors were also treated to a vintage Vickers Enfield and ultra-rare French 1939 Gnome-Rhone. There was also a Manx Norton and Ariel Leader in attendance.

Elsewhere, the museum’s state-of-the-art conference centre screened archive films from the early days of motorcycling and in the main exhibition hall a display of vehicles ensured a good time was had by all.

The centre has recently benefited from a multi-million-pound restructure as a result of National Heritage Lottery funding and has been highly acclaimed by Visit England following its recent unannounced inspection visit.
