It took 3 tries but I found a position of G49 and G61 (with ears) that allowed for all 4 gear selection. I really had to be mindful that the G61 did not foul the kick start gear..There really does not seem to be a rhyme or reason to getting it work well until it just does. Bit of a PITA actually.
The sun has come out it is 11C about 50F or so. So I am going to take the old gear out on an extended Test ride..
