5/16 Cycle Thread Screws Needed.

Can anyone tell me where I might find some 20tpi 5/16" BSCY hex head screws? 20tpi is the problem - plenty available at 26. If not, perhaps someone can recommend a good company or individual in the UK who can make some for me fairly quickly. Before you try to work out where they go, it's not actually for a Vincent, it's for a Rudge.

Try surplusmpeters very helpful, or Tracy tools for a die to make 'em yourself. Good Luck! RDG tools UK list taps and dies, Tracy Tools lists no stock!

Although fairly rare, there is a 5/16 x 20tpi thread with a 60 degree flank angle in the UN Series. Usually known as a UN or UNS or NS. So that is the die you might be seeking.....

Thanks for all your help. A Rudge specialist sent me a mail (which ended up in my spam box) to say that he is making a couple for me. The bike is a 1931 Rudge 250 radial 4 valve and it makes you realise how lucky we Vincent owners are to have so many spares options. Parts for the Rudge are like rocking horse s**t to find.
Lovely little bike though.
