First of all it should be a KVF as a K2F is for a parallel twin!
Lock the ATD at full advance
Set the crank at 34 deg BTDC on the rear (No1) cylinder)
Set the points to be just opening at the physically lower opening point which should be at the end of the shorter gap and before the longer gap. Tap the ATD tight and tighten the nut.
Roll it through and check that it is opening at 34 and then see where the other one is.
Knock it loose and repeat if required.
I use very fine (Think very light) plastic bag strips in between the points although then can get electrostatic and be a bit of a bu%%$^ to get in the points.
