Here at last!!!

Just exactly that. Here at last, although by proxy.
A friend of mine has purchased a 49 Rapide that hasn’t run for some considerable time, he has bestowed upon me the pleasure of getting it running again.
After cleaning the Amal MK 2 carbs, checking the ignition and draining the oil from the crankcase and primary drive down to its correct level, a few kicks and it was running.
A Short road test showed no issues.
Next job, longer road test and a change of oil and filter hound see it back with its owner.
