My name is James.
I don't currently have a Vincent but years ago I worked on an Egli Vincent owned by two brothers.
I made various stainless pieces for it and welded the aluminium tank ,creating a new pocket for the carb to sit in as the existing pocket had been poorly repaired and leaked.
From memory,I think their surname was Ellis from Wallington Surrey,at the time.
Since then ive longed for a Vincent.
I currently own a Laverda Jota.

Thats good to hear, they were great chaps, and I loved working on that bike.
I have a couple of pictures of it in my garage at the time.
It was the first Egli Vincent id come across and my then Ducati 996sps that I had then, looks very ordinary sitting next to it .
