Hi,
thank-you for accepting me onto your forum page, I have recently purchased my first Vincent, a 1950 ‘barn find’ Comet fitted with a rear head and modified inlet manifold with original carb. Non working condition at present. Any comments or advise,
thanks Gary

You came to the right place, one of our active members is a rear head expert! (I hope that isn't misinterpreted. :D)

Hello Gary,
The rear head is not really a problem,
It's just that the inlet has to have a long bend in it,
You can fit it up close but the carb' would have to be on it's side,
I did it once for a laugh ,
Just came back from the Forest !.
Good luck, Bill.
For it to work on it's side , Mk1 Concentric I had to fit a remote float chamber !,
An S.U. one off a car.
