Hello fellow members.
I had the pleasure of accompanying Stewart Jenkinson on one of his trips to Sardinia. I wondered if anyone knows what became of his bike.
He was 78 when we went with him, still very fit at that time, used to go jogging in th mornings from the hotel.
I recall him losing a cylinder near Innsbruck on the way home, turned out the nipple had come adrift from one of the throttle cables.
Soon fixed at a local garage.
I called in to see him once in Guisborough, but there wasn’t anyone at home.
Memories.

Much of last year it was for sale on car and classic by a chap in Essex who bought it from Stuart with the original parts,UFM etc, he converted it back to standard and sold off most of the non standard parts Stuart fitted, twin headlamp etc, I was offered the bike for around £52000 but I bought another for less, I assume he would have sold it late summer 2021 as I have not seen it advertised since, it was apparently running fine.
