I would appreciate any help reuniting…
My father owned this bike in the early 1960s. He was an apprentice engineer back then. Each year spending 6 months at Sellafield (Cumbria), lived at Greengarth with other apprentices who were Riders, then spending 6 months at college in London. He made the long trips with a sidecar filled with his possessions, then took the sidecar off for daily riding. According to MOT records looks like the bike was back on the road 2005-2011. DOT check reports engine F10AB17180, and VIN xxx9080D. When he wasn’t working, he’d go home to the farm and attend local Speedway near Norwich. He‘s 82 now and I’d love to connect him to the current owner to exchange stories and pictures, and to reunite with his all time favorite ride. Appreciate any information, leads, advice you can provide. Here’s a picture.
