Sadly, the SCTA's World Finals at Bonneville have officially been cancelled.

During Speedweek, about a month ago, it rained the Saturday before Sunday tech inspection, which would have been followed by daily racing. There was some flooding in Wendover. It appears that the water did did not go away and the weather did not cooperate.

I was at the "Salt Flats" on this past Friday, August 26 on my return trip from the Monterey Historic races.
I know it's not deep, but looked better suited to speed boat racing.
