I didn't catch what the policeman said before you said, "Who cares, it's an old bike?" Also, why did he stop you?

On my Shadow clock, at rest, the needle is at 10 mph for the speed to be right when rolling. Yours is a bit higher at rest; is there a concensus for the correct needle setting?

Unfortunately not me riding but a recently discovered old friend…. The “Traffic Policeman” mentioned that his number plate did not confirm to provincial requirements…. And he was successfully trying to avoid paying a traffic fine….

All I could think of was, Ear Plugs and I hope he has an Hydraulic Damper,
