Bert Greaves was the brother-in-law of Dave Greaves (Spares Company Director) who used to run the shop in Lymm with his wife Jane (Managing Director) back in the late 1970s and 1980s as can be seen HERE.

The tent behind shows, that this picture was probably made at a very early German Rally in Niederbiel. Niederbiel was the place where Kurt Schupp held his German Rallies before he moved to Niederwetz. Bert visited German Rallies often. Kurts instruction to us team behind the bar was, to bring Bert a fresh beer every hour!
