Just a heads up in case any of us are becoming complacent, there have been four audacious motorcycle thefts, all within a five mile radius of where I live. All the thefts were of virtually brand new motorcycles, and all of them were simply wheeled away from the forecourts or vehicle parking spaces belonging to the businesses, while the businesses were staffed and open, and in broad daylight, all spirited away in the blink of an eye.
Barnstormer in Furze Platt, Maidenhead lost 2 x BMWs.
Brian Gray Motorcycles lost one, not sure what make.
PDQ of Taplow lost a BMW 1000rr, brand new, not even registered.
All in the last few weeks.
Our type of bikes may not be under threat, but it is as well to be vigilant.
