Let's get things straight

I think one of the previous owners of my Comet was Quasimodo, and he adjusted the footrests and brake to suit his frame .......... I can't believe someone might have dropped it at some point. Are there any problems straightening these parts that I should know about before I start? H

If it was dropped on the left a pound to a penny the F106 casting is broken or cracked where the footrest hanger abuts.
If you need new foootrests get folding ones I belive the spares company has a batch in work

Dont straighten the footrest hangers without heating them.they will move quite a lot without heat until....Ching.. you have 2 bits..john
