It is this simplicity which made it a fairly straightforward, task to cut of the eye s of a conventional unit and replace with welded 10mm threaded studs a la Rudge. (10mm rather than 7/16" because it has to allow the s shaped movement of the girders at either end of the rigid damper, the original spring being flexi, ..... 12 stone eh you lucky !!!</p></blockquote><p></p>
