[QUOTE="Sue Stolze-Beland, post: 175500, member: 5703"] I've only just found this website - purely by chance whilst searching for the name of the Vincent owner who had piloted Concorde and who I had met back in the 70's. And I now find out that dear Frank is no longer with us. Quite a shock to read and I concur with the many condolences others have written. One anecdote comes to mind when he made the suggestion that I drive some of us from our camping site just outside Delft during one of the many Dutch Section rallies and drop off Tony Wheatley in the red light district in The Hague! We did try but even Frank couldn't push or pull him out of the back seat. I'm not allowed to go further into the site as I am no longer a member of the club. Gerrit sold all of his two wheeled bikes (Vincents and Velocettes) quite some years ago when he felt he was no longer safe to ride and he has been banned this year by me and the girls (Beth and Sarah) from driving our car we don't deem him competent to drive on 4 wheels. He can just about manage his bicycle although I tell him to pedal faster otherwise he will topple off! But I digress and would like to offer my own condolences to friends and family of Frank. He welcomed me into the Dutch section when I moved from London to De Lier back in 1979 and even turned up at my wedding with Doke, John Waltham and John's wife (?) but we lost touch after Gerrit left the club although I remember Gerrit visiting Frank and Doke when they were living in The Hague.
