Now that data concerning membership and forum use is no longer posted in MPH I guess we are in the dark. Do they still publish the names of new members each month?

Not bad for an unofficial forum. It would be interesting to see how those figures compare to other forums of similar genre’s …….. after all, you can’t really measure success unless you have something to compare it to. ;-)
Not sure you're right using the word 'unofficial' there Debbie.

As far as I recall, at the GCM 12 months ago, it was agreed that the Xenforo forum would remain as is until the ClubExpress has proved itself to be equal or superior (or words to that effect).

Therefore, it wouldn't take a great deal of effort to argue that this Xenforo forum is still the official forum website of the Vincent H.R.D. Owners Club, and that the ClubExpress forum is still a work in progress effort (although over the last 12 months, I have seen absolutely no attempt to improve what ClubExpress offers - either as a forum, or as a general website).

Okay, I admit, my comment was a little “tongue in cheek”, lol. Maybe I’ve been brainwashed into thinking that things are only “official” if they are a duplication of the original, where comments are deleted unless they praise the almighty Exec Gods? Heaven forbid you are actually allowed to voice an opinion, like you can on here. ;-)

If you read the latest post from the club IT man then this site is just "click bait" for a redundant forum. As I see it, there are just over 100 members of the "official" FB page and many are names unknown to most plus wives of members who have never posted!!! The GCM will be interesting!!!!!!!! IF members are allowed to speak.

The CE forums complete lack of measurable success is no surprise to me. The Admin of those forums thinks that forums are a waste of time and are frequented by very few people who are, in his words, idiots.
Graham Smith, on the other hand, is a social media savvy man who knows the value of these forums and is respectful of all who frequent them.
And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is one of the reasons why I quit the I.T. committee.
