Draining Oil

The return line filter that I use is from a BMC car, but I understand that several Brit bike spares stockists offer a filter kit. Good ol' Google should pull up a list.
Most folks fit them under the battery platform, and here I think that the item would be fitted on it's side rather than upright, = messy oil changes. Good Luck. ET43

Once you find 'hidden places' for starter relays, electric starts, twin coils,air horn pumps,alarm boxes,ignition modules,large batterys,communication equipment, and now oil filters etc etc you either start to appreciate the sparce design and light weight of the PEI's original design or else you buy yourself a gold wing

The Norton oil filter adaptor works fine and I use a NAPA 1352 filter which has no restriction, mounted so it holds the oil. Under the pivot is probably the best place to hide it.
