Try this setting from Irene's old Rapide.. It had the late model concentrics w/#25 pilot jets built in. Starting from the top: #622-122 throttle needle in lowest position; #3 throttle valve (slide); #106 needle jet (use the one with the cross hole in it; #180 main jet. set the pilot air screw around 1 turn open, then adjust to your bike's requirement.

the mesh will be without influence on the mixture.this a flametrap for not to burn your bike and to my mind a must on every carb with no filter.
