Misc: Stands Comet Side Stand

Can anyone tell me which modern motorcycle side stand can easily be bolted to a Comet?

It's for a road-going Grey Flash replica without any stand.

Non-VOC Member
Honda CBR250 MC19 or MC22 side stands work well.

I use a Matchless stand on my Norvin and a Norton one on the Comet special.
They are not harder to get than modern Japanese ones, they work as well and are not out of place on an old British bike.
Just my two pennies worth.

I have fitted these to multiple Comets and Twins. Their great advantage is the little rubber foot which, should you forget and ride off with the stand down, will flick the stand up at first contact with the ground.
