Very, very sad to hear of Clive's passing.
First came across Clive in the early 80's, with his his head under a bonnet and bum in the air, very suspicious of us approaching and talking Vincent's.
From then on, we "hit it off", Clive and Sandra joined up, got the bike fettled and became part of the VOC scene..
I was pleased when he took on being Chairman and was supportive of the drawings project we had got underway.
We had a lot of fun and laughs every time we met up.
My condolences go to Sandra and their family.
delboy.

Very very sad news again. I spent quite a bit of time riding around Germany with Clive and Sandra probablly back in the 80s. And particularly remember one trip where Clive's magneto was giving a bit of trouble so all our fill ups were with his engine still running. Possible the same trip we had some help from a couple of German motorcyclists who not only took the mag off one of their bikes (but it did not do the job) but put us up for the night in a partly built house that one of them was working on.
Rest in peace Clive and our condolences to Sandra and family.
Clive, quite rightly, described himself as , "Clive Richards Motorcyclist"
