Hello Jilly, we have just got home from our first Vincent gathering since we sold our Comet and 'retired' from riding after 60 plus years of enjoying Vincents both 'A' and 'C' Twins and Comets. Thank you so much for arranging the meeting at The Stoke Inn and for the beautiful sunny day spent with so many riders from both the VOC and the VMCC. Linda and I had a lovely day socialising with friends from several different sections and riders we have not met before from the VMCC. A special bonus was when our ex Comet which previously belonged to Bob Barry when he was S.O, for the South West section, arrived ridden by it's new owner Keith Gibson of the South West section. Thanks to Norman for encouraging Keith to make the trip, his first proper ride since having a knee replacement. Keith reports the action of kick starting with his left leg while standing alongside the bike feels slightly alien ! Our 340 mile car journey was well worth it. You must be well pleased with the turn out of so many bikes. Photo of Keith with his new bike
