Take the lower shock mount off and check it rotates easily, if not the distance piece between may be too short and locking up when the throughbolt is tightened. The spindle nuts will tighten up more on the spindle as you tighten the outer locknut, so just back off the inner nut a small amount first and try again. It may take several goes, but just keep trying till you can spin one of the FF 10 dust caps on each spindle, except for the lower rear one which is different. The best actual way to check all of this is with the shock absorber disconnected, and the 2 springboxes removed.....this way you can move the forks up and down freely with out any restriction, but this may be biting off more than you can chew....All the best..........Greg.
