Tim, I am now able to borrow bikes when attending O/S rallies but I know someone is in the process of sending his Vincent to the UK, hopefully to be returned. I would like to read the details of this review. Just like when you send a part o/s for repairs the border police are notified it will be returning. I have done this a few times. A totally different kettle of fish with a Black Shadow. We are small fry compared to the Bentley, Bugatti, Alfa etc clubs. The International Bentley Rally in Oz in 2005 brought in over $20M worth of vehicles; imagine the diplomatic meltdown if they were not allowed to return home?!?!?!?! No, I think the Classic Car lobby will be onto this like a fly on a piece of shit. An acquaintance shipped a 1933 Riley to the classic Le Mans a few years ago; if he had been refused re-entry of the car I dare say parliament would know about it. Let's just sit back and let all the lobby groups deal with it for the time being. After all, the asbestos police let my bike in untouched!!!!!!
