At the International Rally, I tried to get Stuart to admit that Triumph was going to bring out a V twin. He ominously wouldn't do so, but they have come out with a 40hp 400cc bike with traction control. It is nice and light.

That looks like an attractive and sensible bike. In these financially troubling times it would make sense from a historical perspective to see more people travelling on two wheels. Certainly the roads are awash with scooters and similar. Be interesting to see if middleweight bikes make a comeback. Enfield certainly seem to be doing ok.

Overseas markets seem to be the target for the smaller capacity machines.
Nice bike will appeal to many riders coming down on weight and competition for the likes of Enfield and BSA.

But not in a V.....
