What you want to do ,Is ring the Council, I did,
Having taken down an Asbestos roof, Tried taking it to the Dump,
Was told , You can't leave that here !,
So on the phone they said , Break it up into 2 foot squares,
I think it was a max' of 4 squares !! At a time, And put it under your hedge,
And we will send a man round, Not sure when !.

I was always not sure if the stuff we were told to spray on Brake linings ,
Was worse than the Asbestos !!.
I hope you hosed it down with water before you did all this. Also, no matter what was in the brake spray (short of cyanide) at least, it stopped the asbestos dust.

Don't think so, Can't remember,
They say this Carbon tech stuff is not good ?.

I was going to ask Eddie to send me the linings,
But don't want him to handle the stuff any more than Ness',
Might be nice to have better Brakes ?.

I don't think I have the Complaint , It's just that the sign said talk to your G.P.
I do cough a lot of stuff up in the mornings, But that could be anything.
I don't see the G. P. much, Not one of these people who are in there often,
I avoid these people if poss',
Had 2. 1/2 months of Covid with out getting them involved, Not that they would let me in !!,
I can see them from my Bedroom ,
I am not well enough to go to hospital !,
One Day at a time, We have all taken a lot of risks.

I can`t tell you how much Sindanyo I`ve machined in the past, but when I had my bypass op a while back, the Surgeon told my Daughter that after the tests they carried out, I had the lungs of a 20 year old.
A lot of sites say it`s non asbestos, HSE beg to differ.

That is really terrible, but why would anyone do that or, worse be told to do that? In the USA we knew all about the dangers of Asbestos from the mid to late 60's? Didn't you have Unions to look out for your safety at your work place?
His exposure to asbestos was around 1975, during a term break from university. It's likely he wasn't in a union due to the short term nature of the job. It's a bit too late to ask him for details....
