can you imagine Genghis Khan eating off a tray on his knees?
pretty sure that my rfm number is on the left rear spindle casting, but as has been said it may take some excavation to reveal it.

It is possible the original lug broke off due to kick starting on the rear stand, although it is usually the RH lug that breaks. No drama though except in Concors! Forget the numbers and get it running.

Probably true on a twin, but on a single the drive is on the side with the numbers........... so that is where the strain would be
