C: Clutch Comet Clutch

From my experience, that trans oil might be fine in a relatively standard post war Comet, but in a 600 Comet with Honda clutch it would slip........same but worse in the pre war bikes......with the earlier 4 spring clutches, you will not stop it slipping using that oil.......ATF used in these then solved the problem.........Cheers.

don't use oil in the primary case, just lube chain as you would final drive chain if you believe too much oil on plates is the problem.

Same oil as in Bike classic Duckams, Honda Clutch electric start, big bore not a problem
