Riding back from a rally over a distance of about 110 miles, ( C Shadow) my clutch went from working fine to dragging so badly that it killed the engine when I stopped in front of the garage (thankfully, no traffic lights). It turns out that the problem is that the outer bush (oilite) in the clutch sprocket is picking up on the shoe carrier. Has anyone else experienced this? If you did, were there other issues that you encountered? Obviously that bush (PD22) will have to be replaced. Should the shaft on C3 be lightly polished?
