Yes a Lithium battery is a great help, my Comet stood all winter battery connected and started up with no loss of power. When no-one could get a classic endurance racing sorted before lockdown (I still cant understand why as the crowds at the last one exceeded the BSB finals )Bens K100 proddie racer was parked stood for well over a year, untill it looked (and still does:mad: ) that classic endurance was a non starter and so reluctantly he decided to sell it, he put in new petrol thumbed the starter and it just started - Lithiumn batteries again.
