Phil Lamour in Canada had made some billet hubs, so I jumped on the bandwagon and had a small batch of front and rear hubs made, primarily for the racers. Taking a cue from Charlie, I used a metric bearing, which was easily available and also available in ceramic ball bearings.

Vincent,

I have never seen billet hubs available from anyone. The best casting aluminum over here is not as strong as the billet of almost any easily available high-strength aluminum alloys.

Billet hubs were made near to me for several years. I know that they were supplied to the Spares Company. The machining was done by the same company that makes the parts for the JE steering stems. They will still have the CNC programs so, if there was a call for these, more could be made. Contact me if someone wants to order ten or twenty and I will get a price and time scale.
