I have some new old stock obviously Vincent brake linings and not sure what they are. Anyone got a hint?

1) Marking on the lining is "1128 Ferodo 3614F VR2/_AF"

2) Marking on the lining is Britax BBL/127

The Ferodo ones are a medium grey with definite metal bits in it, The Britax are brown.

I have 4 of each, thinking of the Ferodo on the front and the Britax on the rear.

Here is a Bill Hancock article, but I don't think it has those production numbers in it.

I think the VR/2 probably refers to them being made for Vincent Brakes. Likely the 3614F is the designation for the material

Sarchasm is the distance that the sarcastic comment clears the head of the intended recipient.

No offence intended here, especially to my friend bmetcalf.

And to clarify, This is a very complete original matching numbers bike that has managed to stay all in the same place despite having been taken apart in about 1955, so, as you may imagine, the original shoes have been relined.......
