He said another op was due soon, so will probably be out of touch for a few days.

Hi everyone, I've had the op to remove a screw from the fixings in my femur which should allow the ends of the bone to close up and, hopefully, heal quicker. I broke my left femur in '87 and was back on my feet in 9 weeks, without metalwork. We certainly don't heal the way we used to. On the bright side, the bikes are ready for the road, just waiting for me to catch up! Cheers, Stu.
