I'm looking for previous owners of this unusual Vincent, particularly original owners, as well as any bike history or historical photos. This White Shadow was originally black from the factory, then was painted gold, then red. Bill Hoddinott restored it in 1970 when it was imported into the US from the UK. Now I'm restoring it to its original specifications, which included a nice lot of Lightning parts from the factory. Registration number is VMT 713. ( Sam Manganaro - sam@vincentworks.com )

Howdy Robert,

Saw that too, reminded me of my own Thruxton VMT1151C, website devoted to it here. Lovely machine but, alas, like Cinderalla's ugly step sisters this light and agile slipper was a bit too small for me.

I'm lucky, Fat as I am, mine still fits, just looks silly when I'm on it.
