Where are you? 246 CMH

Hi All,

I’m trying to locate my Dad’s series C Black Shadow. The registration is 246 CMH.

I believe that the bike is now in the USA.

My father sadly passed in 1988, I would love to find his bike. Any help would be really appreciated.

Paul,

Simon is your best bet. If the registration was taken off the bike there is no way for anyone in the US to recognise it.

Maybe the registration number was transferred. A search on https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/ comes up with the details below. It is taxed until November 2018.

• Registration number 246 CMH
• Make FIAT
• Colour WHITE

Paul has already contacted me. The bike was last reported to be in USA in 2014 but I have no current contact details.

Well, through the help of some wonderful people on here. I’ve found my Dad’s bike. Made contact with the owner in the USA and got some photos. Not in my wildest dreams did I think I’d find my late Father’s bike. He sold the bike in 1965. Thank you to those people (you know who you are) who helped me.
