I used to be a member of VOC having owned an Egli Comet !
Recently I purchased a Wessex Sidecar which I intended to fit on a P*nther Chassis, however I may now not proceed with this venture.
The Wessex came off a Vincent and wondered if it would be of interest to anyone here if I do decide not to proceed with my idea.
Let me know .

Hi Dave.

We have two Wessex outfits and our daughter & son-in-law has one. If anyone is looking for a sidecar, especially period 50s ones, the Wessex is a nice chair. It was very advanced for its time being of monocoque construction with fibreglass ends bolted to the steel centre tub. It weighs about 50lbs less than a Steib. These chairs do not come up very often, so if anyone has been thinking of putting a chair on, do not hang about.
Good luck with it, Dave, if you do not get any joy. try www.sidecars.org.uk which is the Fed of sidecar clubs site and you can put it on there for free.

Cheers, Dave, the sidecar grandpa one.
