Many thanks A-BCD, I didn't know he built a later bike, He was doing 130mph when I saw him. I was hoping one of the lads from over the Pond would post a nice photo !! We all thought he would have killed himself in a short time !!. Once at Santa Pod Raceway he hit the timing lights at 130mph, Everybody thought the worst, After what seemed a long time we heard the bike start and he rode it back down the track, Everybody went Mad !! What a Showman. Cheers Bill.

BC belongs to Canada. I bet they still have show and no gos on the West Coast. Pebble Beach and Quail something are two big ones. Keep in mind you can only participate in those shows if your bike has a special wierd name, like Gunga din, Rollie free, burns and wright and on and on. I tried naming mine, it didn't work. Cheers, Dan

Perhaps I should enter mine in shows, I named it the last time the mag died on a run. Do you think they'd print £$**&"£$***&^%$£** in the programme?

I was introduced to an Indian Chief yesterday, he said his wife was called Four Horses. I said "That's a wonderful name, is she named that for a reason?" He said "Yeh, nag, nag, nag, nag!"

Steve, I kinda like the Slo-No go name for my bike. It fails me many times, and I usually push or putter home last. The usual cause of distress is my fine tuning and tweaking a running bike into a stuttering mess. The good news is I have all winter to figure out how to terrorize my engine. I think I'll adjust the valve timing. See you Teusday Dan (In a Truck serviced by the dealer)

They do!!!

It may be better in every way, but it doesn't say Harley Davidson on the tank, so it won't sell.

Oh contrare, Howard, the" metric cruisers" are out selling them! Ther's several specialists doing very nicely, thanks.

Thanks Roy, I'm behind the times.

I have to say I have no interest whatsoever in HD or cruisers (you could tempt me with a V-max) but the Honda picture (above) would look great on the mantlepiece of an ultra modern flat. Art yes. Motorcycle no....not in my books anyway.

Each to his own but I don't think that any of my pillion passengers would take very kindly to that Honda passenger pad. I suspect that it might ruin the more tender parts of some of my female friends!!
