Humbrol enamel

Humbrol were taken on by Hornby when the Airfix group went bust so their paints are still available; the enamel is still in the small tins, but be aware that the glass jars contain acrylic paint.
Humbrol enamel is certainly petrol-proof, I painted my crankcases with it and it still looks good after 10 years use. Type 29 Amals have been known to drip petrol now and again!
