I may be wrong but had the understanding that brass carbs were mostly pre war and I still have the normal carbs made of alloy with brass fixings slide float needle etc standard for most post war production motorcycles still on my bike and burlen still sell them as is?

Check this out before bidding and had a look at the so called Vincent carbs they do not state the bore of the carb this is very important to find out if you want your bike to run right, 229/112R is the front mixing chamber for the shadow.
