Here's one I bought earlier! Discovered five years ago and subsequently sold for onward transmission to Oz I believe. I must add that it was sold for nothing like the price of the Bonham's item....

Could those bolted items on each side of the center rod be clamps to hold crankshaft halves together?

I believe there is one of these lifeboats at the Flixton Museum in Norfolk.
The lifeboat at Flixton is a mk1 wooden boat. These did not have a Vincent engine. The Vincent powered boats were 31ft long. The wooden boats were only 23ft, and I believe were powered by two 4hp engines.
