I need to get my clutch shoes relined and profiled to suit the drum, also the lift off springs replaced and set to factory standards on a jig, (I believe there are a few in existence). I think the plunger housings are still ok as are the pivot points. Has anyone out there had this sort of work done recently to a satisfactory standard and in a reasonable time frame, I would like to use this machine in 2010! Any suggestions would be most appreciated

I know the standard clutch is not in favour these days, but I have relined mine myself, and changed springs sucessfully-if the pivots e.t.c. are good "do it yourself!" I'm on 171,000 miles on I think 2 relines-but how good is ones memory? Alan J.

Conway's gave me a quick turnaround last year; relined, a new bush and springs. Now setting up the pilot clutch.... that's another story.
