i am currently restoring a Vincent 500cc 3-cylinder 6-pistons 2-cranks
2-stroke marine engine @ my local aircraft museum in doncaster { ex. r.a.f. doncaster} Aeroventure Aircraft Museum looking for surplus spares - especially starter / dynamo parts even if 'rusty or even seized' as it may never run again also wanted handbook / manual even copies for engine project folder.

date today 24th may 2011, tomorrow the engine mounting frame is back from shot-blasters hope to have it painted for weekend the engine is painted, all internal parts have been cleaned, bagged & tagged looking forward to re-assembly.

engine / museum images always available david.wood08@o2.co.uk

museum website www.aeroventure.org.uk

ps classic motorcycle show @ museum sunday 5th june 10am. - 4pm.

many thanks regards dave wood..

i have just rang bob he may only have a handbook for me - providing he can remember where he last put it, he did give me his email name so i will email him some images of this engine in its various stages of restoration, today i painted the insides with a special aircraft inhibitor, hopefully on wednesday it will be re-installed into its bright yellow frame !

many thanks dave
