I have been advised by a learned friend that the valve springs in my beast might be getting a tad saggy (after only 65 yrs!).. and that this, shall we say, sagginess might be the reason for the beasts reluctance to accelerate past 85mph. Other than the obvious (valve springs, inner & outer)..Is there anything else that the hordes might recommend to be refreshed?
It had valve guide seals, pistons & rings about 15,000km ago..

The valves & guides and springs are original to the bike, they werent refreshed when I did the pistons & rings...at that point I fitted the valve guide seals only..as the rockers were not sloppy in the tunnels and the valves were not loose in the guides.
