I am surprised to find no help about this in forum. Maybe I am looking wrongly. I got the primary locking device from spares co, but nut still refuses to move.
I would be grateful for a range of solutions, up to the final blowtorch/ grinder methods!
About 35 years since put on.

What I like about my idea is it's holding the shaft still,
Some other ways the shocker is going through the motion,
So hard to tell how tight you are going,
Also other ways are straining the shaft in the flywheel fit, So I don't like air hammers etc,
I don't like loctite.
