The problem with what you are suggesting is its against the law in the UK to pass a new machine off as a historic vehicle. Its basically fraud with extra as a historic vehicle is road tax free where a new vehicle has to pay road fund license so its basically tax fraud which is serious in UK. They locked Al Capone up for tax fraud in USA.
Are you recommending the VOC supports tax fraud? I have to issue certificates for Vincent's to get UK registrations and I certainly won't issue such a certificate for a suspect bike and bring the VOC into disrepute with the authorities and risk the VOC been stripped of the ability to date Vincent's for registration. As the VOC have the factory record nobody else is allowed to date Vincent's for DVLA registrations. If the VOC lost that ability then there is nobody else who is allowed to do such a service and then any genuine Vincent in the UK would be stuffed.
