tool kit, did they have a puncture repair kit in them?

somewhere i recall seeing something about a puncture repair tin being included in the vincent tool kit.
Can any one add light to that?

Never saw a puncture repair kit . Wasn't one in my new Rapide , uncrated and set up by myself in 1951 . Sid.

There were several "repair kits in a tin" available in the '50s than could, at a pinch, fit into the toolbox tray. I have a couple in my shed, one green and the other orange. Can't remember the brands but will check them out tomorrow. One of them is NOS but the glue has gone hard and I wouldn't ever rely on the 60 year old patches to repair a tyre today.
