I think most of those prices are sensible AND indicate there is not a big fall in prices for good bikes. It seems the Series "A" machines are on a rise after I sold mine three years ago. Again it is difficult to say what is a bargain and what is expensive when it comes to auctions. Unless you actually see all the paperwork etc. it is always gong to be a bit of a chance. If I was to buy any of those it would have been the Egli or Flash replica. The only two Vincents I have not owned from the bunch.

It was a big Watsonian. Prices seemed a little bit higher than other recent auctions.

People willing to pay for better quality. Also, Bonhams seem to be well trusted in describing their lots correctly.
