Threat to the Epping Forest Bikers Tea Hut

The Tea Hut at High Beech, Epping Forest on the north East corner of Epping is under threat. The current hut has been there, run by the same family, for over 80 years. But the owners of the land, The Corporation of London has, without notice, put the license out to tender. It is virtually impossible for Bradley, the current manager, to be able to be able to compete for this and keep tea at 80p. All that will happen is that some anonymous chain will take it over selling pre-packaged shite and all because they'll pay the Corporation more money. It's also well known that The Corporation wants to be rid of bikers in the Forest altogether...
It's not broke, it doesn't need fixing. This comes under the heading of "just leave the bloody thing alone."

I as does brian chapman live on the doorstop to this ,all the local powers to be are totally against this but do please put your name on the petition as every little bit helps

its a bikers meeting place as well as the cyclists and horse riders that stop for a cup of tea ETC
