The moral of the story is that if ever you start your bike, you're probably going to end up riding it!
I checked the oil tank of the Rapide today and it looked like it was beginning to wet sump.. so I thought I better try and start it.. then, as they say, one thing just led to another.. and the next thing I know I’m going for a little ride on the bike..
It was cold & wet but exhilarating and tons of fun! Cannot wait for the better weather!
Don't do this or you will end up riding your bike!

Yeah, once or twice I’ve started a bike just for the heck of it, but usually take it for a spin. I’m lucky, I have some 50 and 55 mph surface streets nearby, makes a nice loop of decent distance to get it up to operating temp.
