The chain can also be quite dangerous. Carleton had one break on the dyno he used, which was a Hartzell hydraulic dyno. The next time someone asked to run their bike on his dyno he told them they must bring with them a new chain in the original packaging and allow him to install it.

The pronounced wear on one side is classic track actual racing mileage , hot laps when heeled over , not on a dyno with the bike vertical . To my mind anyway . Sid .

Looking closer I see that the tire tread has been ripped off , tread failure . FRom severe overheating ? Sid .
